Haller Mora is an office of fourteen architects in Zurich. We design schools, bridges and houses that last a hundred years.

How we work

We don’t start with a shape. We start with the site: the slope, the light at four in the afternoon, the way people already walk across it. Then we draw a grid, and we keep to it. Most of our work is deciding what to leave out. A good building should look obvious once it is there, as if it could not have been any other way.
